Mesh, Extenders and the Link Back
Place a mesh node where both its links work, avoid two routers fighting over addresses, and decide what really fixes a slow room.
Coverage needs a supply road
When moving the hub isn’t enough, the next step is more radios. A mesh system spreads several Wi-Fi points, called nodes, around the house and runs them as one network with one name. Each node does two jobs: it talks to your devices nearby, and it carries their traffic back to the hub. That second link is the backhaul, the supply road for everything the node delivers.
A node is only as good as its supply road. The backhaul can travel by radio or along a cable, and getting it right is most of the job.
